Get a service body that caters to you.

AMERICA'S FAVORITE LINEUP OF SERVICE BODIES

Diamond Truck Body manufactures a full line of Service Bodies to meet nearly any vocational application.

Whether you need a Service Body, Flatbed unit, or even a custom build to cater to your very specific job needs Diamond Truck Body has you covered. The typical industries that use service / utility bodies include plumbing, electrical, contractor services etc...

Before investing into a service body ask yourself these simple questions, and make a check list of all needs.

1.) What (tools + equipment) will be hauled inside?Create a list of items that you need and will be stored inside the utility body (Tools, parts, Specialty equipment etc..). When you have a sense of everything you need to transport with you to the job site, you will have a better understanding of what utility body configuration you will need. Simple body configuration options range from (open top lids /or/ Flat top) (Vertical compartment configuration /or/ Horizontal compartment Configuration).

2.)Once you have completed your list of items that would be stored inside the utility body compartments, switch gears and now focus on the items that will be needed on the outside of the body. Is a crane required for your job? If so a "Crane body" will need to be specified. Crane bodies are engineered and manufactured to accommodate various crane modals.

Most contractor jobs will require the transport of parts and pieces that may be too long to fit in the bed area of the utility body. Adding the option of a fork lift loadable ladder rack will make the loading, unloading, and space to haul material more efficient and effective.

Will the items in the bed area of the service body need to be secured / and or protected from the environment? If so the bed area of the utility body can be secured with a telescoping bed cover that is lockable, and keeps your bed area "Out of sight and out of mind."
